How to Update Your Products

There are many reasons you might want or need to update your products—your product may need changes to pass review, maybe you need to release a new version of the product, or perhaps it's time to adjust your product's price. Here's how to quickly and easily make those changes.

Remember: It's a good idea to dedicate a section of your product description or documentation to update logs. When you make product updates, be sure to indicate what you have changed in a place that customers can see. 

Step 1: Navigate to Your Products Page

First, head to the Products tab of your Creator Dashboard. You can get there by selecting the My Products link from your user menu at the top right.

Step 2: Select the Product You Want to Edit

Once on your Products page, find the product you would like to edit and click the  Edit button. This will take you to the Product Submission Form that you filled out when you first submitted your product. Here you can change any details associated with the product, including title, description, price, documentation, and, of course, the actual product files.

Step 3: Update Your Product Files, Info, Price, Documentation, etc.

Click the panel headers in order to expand the sections that you would like to edit.

Step 4: Save Your Changes

When you're finished, be sure to click the Save Draft or Update button (on the right of the screen, below the Product Status panel) to save your changes.

Note: Once your product has been accepted for sale, subsequent updates are not monitored. It is your responsibility to maintain your product adequately. Maintaining your product may include updating the files for changes in Blender, updating the documentation for better user support, etc.
