How To Search for Products
When you are looking for a product, the search function—along with Blender Market's sorting and filtering options—will enable you to find what you are looking for quickly and easily.
By default, when you click on All Products or a specific category of product from the main Blender Market homepage, you will be presented with a collection of the newest products on the market. "Newest First" is the default sort method unless you are performing a search using the search bar.
The Search Bar
If you have a good idea of what you're looking for, start with the search bar. The results that will be returned will automatically be sorted by relevance. Our search puts the most weight on product titles and only utilizes fuzzy searching when too few products are found for a given search.
Refining Your Search
To narrow down your search results, you can refine them by adjusting your price, license, and rating parameters.
Price
When faced with hundreds of products, having a good idea of your budget can help you narrow down your choices. You can refine search results in $20 increments until you get to $60, at which point you can select either $60-$100 or $100+.
License
If you know the type of license that you are searching for, select it from the available licenses.
Average Rating
The average rating refers to the rating that reviewers have given products. Keep in mind, not all products have been reviewed.
Sorting Your Search
The sorting menu is at the top right corner of your search results. You can sort your search according to these parameters:
- Price: Low to High
- Price: High to Low
- Most Sales
- Most Reviewed
- Most Relevant
- Oldest First
