Customer Product Refund FAQs
If I don’t know how to use the product, can I get a refund?
We expect that you know what you're buying when you purchase a product. Blender Market Creators often provide extensive documentation about how to use their products and are available to provide support to you as a purchasing customer. Thus, not knowing how to use Blender or the product that you purchased is considered insufficient cause for a refund.
The product I purchased just went on sale after I bought it—can I get a refund for the difference?
Unfortunately, no. Blender Market holds sales every few months. Those sales are advertised and we do our best to let people know when they’re coming. Creators also offer temporarily lowered prices or discounts on their products outside of the site-wide sales. To stay in the loop about sales, discounts, and promotions, be sure to subscribe to the Blender Market Newsletter and product updates from Creators.
What is an "accidental purchase"?
An accidental purchase is a product that snuck into your cart or that wasn't the correct version (e.g., Lite vs. Pro). "Accidental purchase" does not cover bulk orders or products that you have already downloaded.
The product doesn’t work as described or is faulty—can I get a refund?
Yes! So long as you do it within 30 days of having purchased the product.
I purchased the wrong product by mistake—can I get a refund?
Yes, you can. Keep in mind that this does not cover bulk orders. It's meant for the item that you had forgotten was in your cart when you checked out.
How do I request a refund?
First, contact the product's Creator to try to resolve any issues that you are having with the product. If the product still does not perform as expected, contact us with the following information:
- the product you would like refunded
- the order number
- the transaction number
- a thorough description of the issues that you are having with the product
How does the refunded money get returned to me?
The purchase price of the product or products being refunded will be remitted to the payment method that you used when you placed the order (PayPal or credit card). Credit card refunds can take several days, depending on the bank, and PayPal refunds should take no more than one or two days.
