How to Create a Portfolio
When you apply to become a Blender Market Creator, the application requires you to submit a portfolio link. Without a link to your portfolio, your application will be rejected. So what is a portfolio, and what should you include in it?
What is a Portfolio?
A portfolio is a collection of your work that highlights your skills and specialties. Your portfolio should display the range of your abilities and include only your best pieces.
Where Should I Post My Portfolio?
That's up to you and depends on the types of products you create. If you are an artist, two great spots to post your portfolio are ArtStation and Sketchfab. But if your products are training videos, post your portfolio on YouTube or Vimeo. If you create add-ons or scripts, your portfolio could consist of demo videos on YouTube or Vimeo. If you have a personal or business website, you may also want to showcase your work there.

What Should I Include in My Portfolio?
Include your best work. Include work that you are proud of. Include work that shows your versatility as a creator. Make sure that your portfolio aligns with your product proposal. If you are applying to sell training videos, your portfolio should include some of your training videos.
How Your Portfolio Affects Your Creator Application
The two most important parts of your Creator application are your portfolio link and your product proposal. These pieces of information show the Blender Market team both the quality and the scope of what you would like to sell. When your application is reviewed, the quality of your portfolio could mean the difference between being accepted and being rejected. So take some time and make sure that everything looks sharp and that you are putting your best foot forward.
